Elk Hunters in Southern Oregon Cascades
Have Sasquatch Action in their Camp!!
by; Dan Lindholm
I received a series of emails from a prior contact telling me about recent activity in his hunting area, here in Southern Oregon. In the prior contact we had talked about his Dad having pine cones thrown at him and hearing whoops, and we talked about the activity in my own area. We have talked about going out in the field together but as yet, have not met. I won't disclose the exact area but it IS prime Sasquatch territory, adjacent to the same National Wilderness area that my own research area skirts and within twenty miles of my own teams wild experiences just last Spring. I will tell you the story through T Wagner's own emails...
"Ok, our hunting area has
been taking over by Sasquatch!
On our elk hunt by *****. My uncle came up from Los Angeles. He brought 3 tree cameras and an audio recorder. I was in my tent
trailer. I can hear everything in there! Friday night before elk
season, I heard 2 wood knocks clearly by camp. they were a sharp sound not a
thud. We got 3 on audio.
The next night, my uncle forgot to put out the audio. What a mistake. I told them if a Sasquatch was close by that I was going to lock my car. That makes the horn go beep. At 2:45 am. I was awake. Not sure why, but I was laying in bed trying to go to sleep. I heard a very loud, clear yell. It sounded like a male Sasquatch. It sounded like a Bobo call but better. I kept locking my car for the beep and my dad and uncle didn't wake up, so I set the alarm and it went off for about 30 seconds. My uncle woke up but had to go pee he said, inside the trailer's bathroom. I heard them rustling around and then I heard a loud pee next to my trailer.
About 2 minutes later my uncle came over to my tent trailer and asked what was going on? I told him that I definitely heard a male Sasquatch yell close by. I asked him if he had pee'd next to my trailer. He said no, that he pee'd as soon as he got up in the trailers bathroom. Needless to say, I didn't stay in the tent trailer the rest of the night. At 5 am, I am pretty sure that I heard a couple of whoops but couldn't hear well because of my uncle's snoring.
My uncle submitted the info to the BFRO and they are going to
meet with us in a couple of weeks. They said there was a sighting on the road
we were camping off of recently.
I would be glad to take you there. I could try to tell you
but it would be easier to just show you. We have a couple of other guys that
had a lot of action 3 or 4 miles away.
The week end before in rifle elk season. - I forgot to tell you that my dad heard it( or another) the week end before elk season. It did a series of yells that lasted 45 seconds he said. it was later in the morning than mine. About 6:30 am.

There is actually more to the story. There was a camp up the hill where we were at. I went up there and talked to them about the yell that I heard. They were in an enclosed trailer and didn't hear the yell but a guy in his 20's told me that he got woke up the night before by something big scraping the side of his trailer in the middle of the night. In his own words, he said it creeped him out."

You should take a look at the Powers area, particularly the logging areas a few miles outside of town. I've three people, two who saw multiples, and one person who was stalked by a black colored one. I've personally had two encounters, albeit 25 years apart, in the Coos County area.
